I usually buy them based more on the prettiness of the tin they come in, rather than the actual taste or type.

Actually, I am not a fan of the salted egg yolk inside. I am lame and prefer pure-sweet-paste - be it lotus, red bean or mung bean. With tea of course. You'd probably choke to death on the density of this stuff without a good cup of hot tea!
